Day 9:

 We woke up to the wonderful view
of Bora Bora's famous outline.
 

After breakfast, we took the tender boat to shore
and boarded "le truck" (in the background).

Each bend on our relaxed and bumpy ride
along the coastline brought another stunning view...

... and another ...

... until we reached a perfect white sandy beach.

There, we rented the kookiest boat in the world.
Notice the joystick!

On it, we floated across iridescent waters
in shades of turquoise, cyan, topaz, lapis lazuli and blue;
it was quite unforgettable.

On our way back to the ship we saw this perfect Tiare,
Tahiti's national flower of mythical importance.

Back on board, we enjoyed another wonderful 5-course dinner
in one of the ship's beautiful restaurants ...
 

... and after watching a show at the theater lounge,
we retired to our cabin quite happily.
