For some reason viking helmets are common merchandise in area shops.

dcp04033.jpg
We took a water taxi out to land's end.

dcp04034.jpg
Lots of fishies. We went snorkeling in this spot later in the trip.

Here we are ruining the shot of the arch.

I dig the rock formation at land's end. This is on "Lover's Beach"

dcp04044.jpg
More cool rock formations. They look better live I guess.

dcp04046.jpg
We had the Pacific end of Lover's Beach all to ourselves.

dcp04064.jpg
We rented a car and drove north to Todos Santos, stopping at a little roadside taco stand named Fonda de Cesar. I had the best fish tacos of my life here during my last trip to Cabo.

dcp04066.jpg
But this time there was some sort of wholsale chili distribution taking over the area (note all the rejected chili's on the ground).

dcp04067.jpg
Unfortunately the trucks made a lot of noise, sort of distracting from our meal.

dcp04063.jpg

dcp04065.jpg

dcp04060.jpg
The tea was delicious, we're not sure what sort of tea it was though.

dcp04061.jpg
And the fish tacos tasted great, even though they didn't seem exactly like I remembered.

dcp04062.jpg

dcp04069.jpg
After eating, we drove to a deserted beach south of Todos Santos.

dcp04071.jpg

dcp04072.jpg
Mie really liked the semi-convertible volkswagen bug.

dcp04074.jpg
Back in Cabo San Lucas, Mie experiments with local candies (she ended up throwing them all out).

dcp04075.jpg
When we got back to the Bahia hotel, a new neighbor had moved into the bay.

dcp04077.jpg
Mie took a little dip while I drank Dos Equis at Billygan's Island.

Every evening they had some pirate ship battle on the bay (see the smoke from the cannons?)

dcp04084.jpg
We drove into town the last evening and ended up at a circus. Here's a juggler.

dcp04085.jpg
A hula hoop artist. I didn't want to use the flash so the photos aren't so great.

dcp04086.jpg

dcp04087.jpg
She was doing a gazillion hoops at once.

dcp04088.jpg
One foot unicylcin' while juggling and twirling a hoop on his other foot.

dcp04089.jpg
Ring acrobatics sans net, sometimes from a height of 30' or so.

Sponge Bob Square Pants!

dcp04092.jpg
And Patrick!

dcp04096.jpg
This was the view from the hotel bed in the morning. Sorry about the weird exposure in the open door.
