Day 11:

Once again, we woke up in Tahiti.

After packing, we took another stroll through Pape'ete...

... and spent a few last hours on board the beautiful R3.

This is our farewell picture in the lobby as we depart the ship.

Since we still had several hours until our flight,
we were taken to a resort hotel close to the airport...

... where we spent our final hours on the island
guarded by this lovely Tiki god.

... felt great ...

... while Davy relaxed in the sunshine.

The tropical sunset made it hard
to say good-bye to the islands.
They are so beautiful,
they really make you want to live there.
